Team Management is the capability of a person or an association to administer and mange a group of persons to do a task. Team Management includes teamwork, goal setting and performance appraisals.

Team Management in the workplace provides the organization and staff the possibility to become more familiar with each other and get knowledge of how to effectively work together. It also assists in making the business policies toward encouraging the team development at workplace.

For effectively managing a team, it is crucial to be a team leader to manage his team as a mentor rather than just becoming a strict boss. For being a successful team leader he should make a good understanding with his team members, create a healthy relation with them and should increase the comfort level among his team rather than imposing things on them.

This unit provides an intensive, comprehensive introduction to team management along with its types and the difference between groups and teams.
